Ted Turner QSO Party
Deep South QSO Party
Okra & Grits QSO Party
Kudzu QSO Party
Hot Boil't Peanuts QSO Party
I20 QSO Party

Include: SC, GA, AL, MS, and LA

I bet you could get these states to work together on it.

Other suggestions:

-Must include strong club support from every state.

-Must include a go-getter from every club. Someone that can lead and
motivated the troops.

-Rotate duties between clubs each year.
  * Awards
  * Log checking & reporting
  * Media & promotion
  * Donations (for awards, etc)
  * other

-Strong recognition for the people and clubs organizing the event.

-Listen hard to the county hunters for suggestions. They are where the
QSOs come from in these events.

-Not too short, or guys like W5WMU won't drive over here to do /M. Not
too long, because activity doesn't warrent it. 18 Hours seems right to
me. 6:00am to midnight. Keeps people off the roads too late.

-Strong support for low power and QRP classes of operation. Awards and
recognition. QRP is really growing fast in ham radio.
