Hi guys: I didn't even know until Monday that a magnetic storm had
wiped out propagation in the northern hemisphere Saturday. 160 was bad
the whole weekend and 80 was bad on the first day. Otherwise, condx
seemed good here. The 8P9HT score claimed is about 5 percent higher
than my claimed score in 1998 which is the existing continental record.
One op, one radio, 500 watts, good antennas, no assistance. Here is the
breakdown: 160: 85/7/11. 80: 685/22/73. 40: 1361/23/78. 20:
1123/26/80. 15: 1614/27/90. 10: 2057/31/108. ALL: 6925/136/436 =
10,703,264. Thanks for all the QSOs. Return home tomorrow early. Hope
all had fun in spite of condx. 73, John, K4BA/8P9HT 9ppr 8P9Z).
