Jay and all...

I think HF mobile and 2M are the right combination.  I recall that after
the Alaska earthquake (1967?) and another a few years ago in Central
America, the most effective communications were accomplished by HF 
mobile operators. 2M will be the main local communications, with 75M
probably the backup.
