[SECC] FT1000MP problem

    I recently switched on my main FT1000MP after a 3 month hiatus. It was
totally disconnected from the antennas and the A/C power during the 3 month
period. As soon as it was turned on the fan came on and the P.A. and switching
supply section became boiling hot. When I try to transmit the swr meter shows
nothing but after a few seconds it goes to infinite. Anyone aware of a problem
of this type with the FT1000MP?? Looks like I will need to send this rig to
Yaesu for repair.
