I don't know how to contact him now though, if you want it bad enough, he
will find you.
You do have to shake hands and promise to fulfill a request much later.
No goat offerings were mentioned, but what ever works, just works.


Details...

The G5 here is the standard HRO bag model, 102' flat top, 29' of 300 ohm to
a balun, and coax direct to the TX.
No tuner needed on 80/20/40/10.
It is strung up running east/west, perhaps a bit NE/SW, not much though.
The ends are about 65' high, and feed point may be down to about 50'.  It
also is probably true that for a domestic contest, a yagi would have been
only marginally better or perhaps even less effective.  The high take off
angle probably is better for the short stuff, as in NVIS.

There are many of us that could, and do, pitch in for the club with our
modest stations.  If you are on the sideline, consider jumping in.

I figured that using the spots and higher power was fine to pump up the
score since all classes are added into the club score in the end, and I
didn't really have much chance for a class win on my own.  Getting the
sections early lets the run efforts pay off.

It was fun.

Now back to CW QRP for a while, or some mobile USI island hopping as K4USI
(Island Rovers of GA Club Call).

With those dimensions you do not have a G5RV.  A G6RV is a 102 foot flat-top
fed with 33 foot of 300 ohm ribbon.  To a random length of 70 ohm coax.
