Hi guys:

Some of you may not have logging software for NA Sprint or NAQP. This
requires NA, TR, or Writelog and maybe a few others. CT will not do it.

The message below gives you a place to download a program so you can
create a Cabrillo file for e-mail submission from a paper log kept
during the contest. This should help those of you who might be
reluctant to participate in such contests without complete logging
software for them.

Don't forget that NA Sprint CW is 00 to 04Z this Saturday night. It can
be a lot of fun. I will possibly be QRV during the few minutes and the
last few minutes of the contest. If so, hope to work you all then.

This Saturday is also the time for the February FISTS CW club CW
Sprint. It is open to members and non-members alike and activity is
around the FISTS CW club spot frequencies of 058 up on the CW bands 80
through 10 M. Time Saturday is 17Z to 21Z. Sent RST, SPC, Name, and
FISTS Number or power output if no FISTS number. There is a QRP
category for 5 watts or less and everyone else is considered QRO. Mults
are SPC in the contest (not per band). Stations may be worked once per
band. Info is available and forms may be downloaded from
http://www.fists.org/sprints.html.

With the creative energy of Bruce Horn, WA7BNM, a new step has been
taken in making the internet improve the efficiency of contest log
submission.

For those of you who don't make many contacts in the Sprints, and
are still using pencil and paper for your logs, an easy way is now
provided for you to enter your log using a simple form on the web.

This form is located at http://www.ncjweb.com/manualsprintlog.php.
It supports the three NCJ Sprint contests (CW, SSB and RTTY).

If you have any problems using the tool, or have ideas for
improvement,
please forward them to webmaster at ncjweb.com.

Remember, the SSB sprint is this afternoon, and the CW one is next
weekend.
