[SECC] 1 5/8" 50 ohm hardline

Hello all,

I might be on for some of the SS SSB this weekend but only P/T.

I may have the opportunity to pick up some large quantities of 1 5/8 50 Ohm hardline at a good price in the next week.  I don't do any VHF stuff only 10 meters and down.  Has anyone in the club worked with or currently using this size hardline?  What are the disadvantages?
Is it worth messing with?
