Subject: [SECC] Bad day at NAQP

Ignorance and Murphy did a thorough job on me.

I did get an early start. In fact, I started calling CQ NA at 1700. After
nine Qs, including one with an obviously puzzled KU8E, I finally realized
either the bands were dead and buried or I was the only one in the contest.
Erased those nine Qs and waited until the proper time. Made about 10 Qs in
the real contest and then logging program went down, tribander developed
serious SWR and I finally got the message. I declared victory, sang one
verse of "Free At Last," then looked for the place to surrender.

Glad some of you guys rose above it all and posted some fine scores.

73, Archie, K4GA
