What did happen to me was that someone early in the contest recorded
me calling CQ early in the contest.  When I quit calling CQ, "he"
would then play the recording with my voice.

Apparently, this is becoming a new "toy" for some who just want to
aggravate others. It's
been discussed primarily on the Writelog reflector.

And now apparently, it's also been used to create "false Qsos".

As for the other jerks calling +/- .5 kc, I have a simple solution.
It's called a Titan.
