S9 noise level with crackling QRN; slow eight S-unit QSB! Late start;
missed the first 0.6 hr. Heard quite a few California stns but QSB and
QRN would have prevented full exchange info for me.


FT-897 running 5 watts into 5-MHz OCF 28-gauge insulated wire stealth
antenna up 40 feet in trees next to I-75 in downtown Atlanta industrial
area. SGC SG-237 autotuner. WriteLog 10.44b.
