Was considering heading for the Smoky Mountains to operate the ARRL VHF contest in June, for no other reason to get the higher elevation. Has anyone every tried this idea? If so, any locations that stand out? Seems like a TCGer from east Tennessee used to go up and play with a team from North Carolina. Any ideas would be appreciated. NY4N Jeff
