We had one of those IC-7800 demos at the HRO here in VA yesterday, but I had
a bunch of chores I was doing and forgot to attend.  Speaking of Icom, I own
several of their radios, including an IC-756.  The display has blue lines
running across it and I phoned Paul Hansen about having him repair it for
me.  Paul said that unfortunately that Sanyo display was no longer made, but
he had heard of Icom having Sanyo repair some of them.  I emailed Icom
Support with the problem and they told me to send them my radio, they would
remove the display and send it to Sanyo for repair.  I don't know how long
this will be possible, so if any of you have that radio with that problem,
now would be a good time to act.  73, Carl
