short and was still short (open to PA and KY) at the end of the contest, 
but most of the stations had left 20 and, I guess gone to 40.  40 had 
some QRN, but it wasn't bad and it was short enough for other GA QSOs at 
the beginning and lengthened out, but we never lost propagation to TX 
and VA.  80 was probably better than most thought.  I was able to work 
W2LJ in NJ near the end and actually worked all 4 stations I could hear 
on 80, but no one answered my CQs there.  We could have used some more 
activity as it was hard to find a QSO on any band during the last 15 
minutes.
