[SECC] Thanks!

If you remember The former contest director ignored all of our efforts to contact him and I had to try
to contact everyone who we thought had submitted a log to resubmit it again. What a mess !!

I believe John will still be rovering this year.... In my case I have to choose between GQP and FQP and I have chosen to make my trip for FQP. I will still be active in GQP from home from "rare" Harris County...

Please support NE4S by putting in some operating time in GQP. Then it will make his job of doing all the log checking and oher stuff he does more worthwhile. You would be surprised how hard log checking can be. Some people just don't check their Cabrillo file before they email it to you. You would
be amazed that many of the popular logging programs don't generate a correct file. Paper logs ??? Don't get me started on that !!!

Don't stop going mobile just because a couple of us fussed about the supposed lack of efort toward getting more home stations on. We need more home stations but also must have good mobiles. Go ahead with John and go mobile this year. You two always rack up a heavy score which means you have attracted folks who can work us at home.

I am convinced we have enough guys in both clubs and in South Georgia to have 25 to 40 home stations lined up every five kHz. With that and two or three good mobile efforts we could have a great GQP.
