Hello: See the announcement below. Glad they clarified that rule.
That's the way I always had interpreted it anyway. 73, John.

A comment from W9RE prompted me to clarify the dupe rule for NS. It has
not been stated previously, but back-to-back QSOs on different bands are
permitted (and encouraged). One of the ancestors of NS was the Internet
Sprint, where intervening dupes on the same band and back-to-back on
different bands are ok. Since a prime goal of NS is to promote practice in
SO2R mode, feel free to work those "cuplet" QSOs, they are a kick when they
happen! I had one with K4BAI two weeks ago, and with W9RE last
week. (Mike, your QSO total should be 56!)

NS continues this week, Oct. 20, local date.

-- 30 mins 0230-03Z
-- Start 0230Z (1930 PDT, 2030 MDT, 2130 CDT 2230 EDT)

-- 14040, 7040, 3540, 1810 (160 may become useful as 20m goes away)

-- 100 watts, dupes allowed after 1 intervening Q on the same band
(back-to-back on different bands are OK, 1 KHz QSY.

Otherwise it's like the NCJ NA CW Sprint (see
http://www.ncjweb.com/sprintrules.php )

-- Report scores to http://www.hornucopia.com/3830score/, or on 3830 after
the practice.

Finally, remember 3830 at 0300Z for the weekly NCCC
contest net. Real-time score collecting, bragging, excuses, antenna checks,
advice.................

THURSDAY NIGHT MADNESS continues on Oct. 27,
Nov 3 and 4, when we switch to SS CW format. NS rules again on Nov 10.

CU, N6RO
