Well, at the time these regulations were brought into force, there  
was a much, much more restrictive ordinance preparing to pass. This  
was a result of a compromise brought by a group led, I believe, by  
N4UCK.

It appears the regulations have changed somewhat, as there now is a  
blanket exemption to 75 feet for amateur radio antenna structures.  
This wasn't the case 5 years ago when I erected my tower.

Hmm. I wonder if I can change out the mast and go to 55-60 feet...  
I'll have to do the calcs.

Anyone got a 2" chrome-moly mast over 9 feet long they'd like to part  
with?
