This week's contests:

1. 40M QRP Fox Hunt. Thursday night local, 0200-0330 UTC Friday.
Maximum 5W QRP. 2 Foxes will be between 7030 and 7050. Work only the
two Foxes. Exchange: RST, SPC, Name, Power.

2. NCCC Sprint Practice. For the next two weeks, it is 160 and 80M CW
only to prepare us for the Stew Perry TBDC on 160M at the end of the
month. Exchange: Both calls, #, Name, SPC. Dupes OK after band change
or one intervening QSO. One kHz QSY rule. 0330-0359 UTC Friday
(Thursday local). For these two weeks, you can run high power if you
like. Look around 3540 on 80M and I think it is 1810 or so on 160M.

3. RAEM CW Contest. 0200-0959Z Sunday (Sat night local). Exchange:
RST + Latitude and Longitude in degrees (you can get this off QRZ.COM by
bringing up your call and going to "detail." 80-10M CW. There has been
pretty good activity in this one in recent years and it is the only game
in town for this weekend except a Russian SSTV and narrow digital mode
contest.

Christmas will come before my next report, so Merry Christmas to all of
you and your families and friends.

73, John, K4BAI.
