The Straight Key Century Club has its weekday sprint (SKS) tonight local
time (Wednesday 00-02 UTC). Exchange is: RST, SPC, Name, SKCC# or
"None." Use a straight key or a bug, not a keyer or computer keying.
Bonus points for working the SKCC club call K9SKC, which will be
operated tonight by Ed, KG4W in Virginia, who always has a great signal
into our area. 160-6M CW. QRPP, QRP, LP, or HP. Suggested
frequencies: 1820, 3550, 7055 and 7114, 14050, 21050, 28050, 50090 kHz.
Tom, K4ZGB, is often very active in these events, as am I. My hand
key fist has improved a great deal since I started operating in these
events, although you may have your own opinion when you hear me. Dig
out the old J-38, Vibroplex bug, or other mechanical key and join in the
fun. Full info at http://www.skccgroup.com/spring/sks/ P.S. Please
let me have your claimed scores and I'll report them to the groups. 73,
John, K4BAI.
