Sorry. I forgot to paste the reminder into the message. Here it is:

Want to be part of what we believe are the most successful 2-hour
sprints in
ham radio today and do your part to help promote CW and QRP? Read on and
join in.

A last-minute reminder of our NAQCC special mW sprint coming up tonight:

Wednesday December 29 at 8:30 to 10:30 PM EST (Thursday December 30 at
0130Z
to 0330Z)

Note the new main URL for our club web site is now http://naqcc.info/.
Update your bookmarks, favorites, links if you haven't already done so.

Rules specific to this month's special sprint are available via:

http://naqcc.info/contests.html

It's basically a regular sprint except for the power level. To be eligible
for any certificates or prizes, your power level must be 1 watt or less.

General Sprint Rules that apply to all our sprints are at:

http://naqcc.info/sprint_rules.html

If you're new to our sprints or just need to refresh your memory, please
read all the rules and understand them thoroughly to make things easy for
you and for us.

There has been enough participation in our last couple special sprints for
us to now divide the SWA category into the 10 USA call areas, Canada,
and DX
just like we do with our regular sprints. That means a maximum of 12
certificates and even more equitable competition since you only compete
with
those in your call area to win something. The GAIN category remains
unchanged, and adds a 13th certificate.

We hope you use the GenLog logging program for our sprints. It makes
logging
very simple for you and log cross-checking simple for us. You can get the
program, the latest data file for the program and instructions on how to
use
it via the General Sprint Rules. The new web site now contains a thorough
tutorial on using GenLog that includes many screen captures. It's at
http://naqcc.info/sprint_genlog_tutorial.html if you need it.

After the sprint, use our Autologger to make submitting your report and log
as easy as possible:

http://naqcc.info/sprint_submit_log.html

Our sprints are user-friendly to those new to ham radio contesting with
their simple exchange and slow pace. They are also very enjoyable to
veteran
contesters who love helping those new to contesting as well as having fun
themselves. Don't be afraid to join in the fun. Newcomers may just decide
they like contesting and pursue it further. Several of our members have
started with our sprints and gone on to be very good contesters.

Tips for successful sprinting can be found at:

http://naqcc.info/sprint_tips.html

We hope you will join in. I'll be there for sure. Will you?
