This Week's Contests:

1.  CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests.  Wednesday 19Z for one hour.  160-10M CW. 
  Exchange:  RST + CWOps # or SPC.  Thursday 03Z for one hour (Wed night 
local).  Same rules.

2.  North American QRP CW Club Milliwatt Sprint.  0130-0330Z Thursday 
(Wednesday night local).  80, 40, 20M CW.  999 mW maximum power. 
Exchange:  RST + SPC + power.  Multiply score by two of use of hand key 
and by 1 1/2 for using a bug.  I plan to get out my WM-2 wattmeter and 
run 950 mW.

3.  40M QRP Fox Hunt.  Thursday night local, 0200-0330Z Friday.  5W 
maximum power.  Work only the two foxes.  One of them is KV2X in NY. The 
two foxes will be hiding between 7030 and 7050 kHz.  Exchange:  RST, 
SPC, Name, Power.

4.  NCCC NS Practice.  0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local).  This 
week only 40, 80, 160M CW.  100W maximum.  One kHz QSY rule.  Exchange: 
  both calls, #, name power.  There should also be a SNS slow speed 
practice 0200-0220Z with speeds of 18-26 WPM and the same rules except 
the bands are probably 20, 40, 80M.  Have not seen an announcement on 
this yet.

5.  Adventure Radio Society January Spartan Sprint.  80-10M.  5W maximum 
power.  0200-0400Z Tuesday (Monday night local).  Exchange:  RST, SPC, 
power.

6.  QRP 80M Fox Hunt.  Tuesday night.  Same rules as 40M on Thursday 
except frequency range is 3550-3570.

Not a contest, but the ARRL Sponsor Straight Key Night for the 24 hours 
of January 1 UTC.  Use a mechanical key and work everyone you can.

The second weekend in January is the NAQP CW and the third weekend in
