Comments:

Started the contest with an S3 noise level which never went away.  Then, the
thunderstorms came Sat afternoon and lost three hours of operating time as
the
lightening crashed all around us.  Then, the bands never seemed to really
open
which makes it tough for us dipole guys.

SC is a beautiful place to live but it has some problems as a contest
operating
place: (1) EU is much further away compared to the NE (right, Rick?; (2) The
earth is all sand so good grounds are almost impossible; (3) almost everyone
lives in an HOA area so towers are virtually non-existent; (4) the snakes
and
gators make it hard (if not dangerous) to work on antennas most of the year.

But, it is a rare multiplier for some contests.  Just remember that when you
hear me and wait in line to get that rare SC mult.
