This Week's Contests:

1.  NCCC SNS and NS.  Thursday night local time.  SNS slow speed 
0200-0220Z Friday.  TONIGHT everyone is to be QRP.  Maximum power 5W. 
Maximum speed 26 WPM.  One kHz QSY rule.  Exchange:  both calls, #, 
name, SPC.  Bands:  20, 40, 80.

NS. 0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local).  Same rules as SNS except 
no speed limit and add 160M band.  AGAIN, all QRP, 5W maximum for tonight.

2.  CQ World Wide DX Contest, SSB.  48 hours of Sat and Sun UTC. 
160-10M SSB.  Exchange: RS + CQ Zone number (05 for GA and SC, 04 for 
AL).  Club aggregate score competition.  Remember to put your club 
affiliation (if you are within the 275 km circle) in the header of your 
log.  Spell it out:  "South East Contest Club" or "Alabama Contest 
Group" etc.  Watch for the Atlanta operators at TI8M and SECC members 
operating portable on PJ7.

3.  50 mHz Fall Sprint.  6 meters any mode.  2300Z Sat to 0300Z Sun. 
Exchange:  4 character grid square.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend and a lot of QSOs.  Hopefully the good 
propagation of the past few weeks on 15 and 10 M will hold up and the 
lower bands will be open and relatively free of QRN.
