Subject: LAST CALL Sell: Elecraft K1, Yaesu VX-5R -

The MFJ-259B and Elecraft K1 originally listed have been SOLD.

The Yaesu VX-5R is STILL AVAILABLE to club members as originally noted below.  On this coming Monday (August 20) I will move the listing to QTH.com.  Once the VX-5R go off the club email group, the price will be increased.

Original listing with deletions of SOLD items follows:

More stuff excess to my needs - as usual, offered to dues paying
club (SEDXC or NFARL) members first - please don't pass this along to
all your non-club member friends unless they are willing to join one of
these two clubs!  If the stuff goes outside our club members, the prices will be substantially higher - it's a perk of being a member!

1.  Yeasu VX-5R  50/144/430 MHz Handi with original Yaesu manual and accessories including:

ADMS-1E Programming Software with instructions, disk and cable
Mini Pocket Reference by VE3AYR
Yaesu NC-72B Charger
Belt Pouch

Combination earpiece, boom mic and PTT assembly
Yaesu antenna extension for 6 meters

This is an older unit with a good battery in perfect working condition.  Several years ago, I had one of the vendors at Dayton
do the modification to "open" the it up for expanded RxTx frequencies.
This modifications includes LIMITED coverage on 220.  It does NOT go
high enough on 220 to operate with repeaters! Our own Niel Foster (N4FN) tried to use it for 220 repeaters and confirms that it DOES NOT go high enough.  Apparently the expanded
TX range includes 48 - 68.995; 119 - 221.995; and 305 - 579.995 MHz.
Frankly I couldn't tell you as I just don't use either handi-talkies or
repeaters - other than the fact that it works as it should, when it
comes to the other frequencies, you're on your own with this one.

Price for dues paying club member is $75 (it pays to pay your dues!)

Thanks for the bandwidth and thanks for looking.  NO, I won't give additional
discounts - don't ask - NO, I will not pay for shipping - YES, all other questions cheerfully answered.  I can be reached at
404-218-3595 Cellular or via this email address.  Look for me from
Swain's Island (http://www.nh8s.org) early in September - see you in the pile-ups -- Don N4HH
