This Week's Contests:

1. Tonight, Wednesday night local, 0030-0230Z Thursday UTC.  NAQCC 
Summer Milliwatt Sprint.  80, 40, 20M CW.  Maximum power:  less than one 
watt (I will be running 990 mW.)  Exchange:  RST + SPC + NAQCC# or 
power.  Multiply score by 2 for hand key and by 1 1/2 for bug.  Look 
around 3560, 7040/7030, and 14060.  I'd start on 20M where there will be 
less QRN and work down the bands.

2.  NCCC RTTY Sprint Practice.  Thursday night local.  0130-0159Z Friday 
UTC.  15, 20, 40, 80M RTTY.  Look around 14080 kHz.  Maximum power 100W. 
  One kHz QSY rule.  This week same band dupes are OK after one 
intervening QSO.  Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.

3.  NCCC NS CW Sprint Practice.  Thursday night local.  0230-0259Z 
Friday.  15, 20, 40, 80, 160M CW.  Look around 040 kHz and 1815 kHz. 
Maximum power 100 at .  One kHz QSY rule.  No same band dupes allowed. 
Exchnage:  both calls, #, name, SPC.

4.  His Majesty King of Spain Contest, SSB.  12Z Sat to 12Z Sun. 
160-10M SSB.  Exchange:  RS + serial # or EA province.

5.  Ukrainian DX Digi Contest.  12Z Sat to 12Z Sun.  80-10M RTTY, PSK63. 
  Exchange:  RST + seial # or 2 letter UKR oblast.

6.  Marconi Memorial HF Contest.  14Z Sat to 14Z Sun.  160-10M CW. 
Exchange:  RST + Serial #.

7.  ARRL Field Day.  18Z Sat to 21Z Sun.  24 hours from start of 
operation if you set up before hand.  All bands except WARC bands (and I 
assume 60M?) and any mode.  Exchange:  # of transmitters + class + 
ARRL/RAC section or "DX."  Classes are:  A portable.  B one/two person 
portable.  C.  Mobile.  D: Home.  E:  Home on emergency power.  F:  EOC. 
A home station with one transmitter would send 1A + ARRL section, for 
example.

8.  SKCC Weekday Sprint (SKS).  Tuesday night of next week local, 
0000-0200Z next Wednesday.  160-10M CW.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + SKCC# or 
power.

9.  Three separate CWOps Club Mini Tests, Wednesday of next week local 
date.  1300Z, 1900Z Wednesday and 0300Z Thursday.  160-10M CW.  Look 
around 028 kHz on each band.  Exchange:  Name + CWOps# or SPC.
