1.  CWOps Club CWT Mini Tests.  Wednesday local date.  13Z, 19Z, 03Z. 
160-10M CW.  Exchange:  Name + CWOps # or SPC.  Three separate one hour 
mini tests.

2.  10-10 International Day Sprint.  0001-2359Z Thursday October 10. 
10M all modes.  Exchange:  Name + 10-10# (or "0") + SPC.
      Ten meters has been very good for the past week or so and this 
could be a lot of fun if the band is open Thursday.

3.  NCCC RTTY Sprint Ladder.  0130-0159Z Friday (Thursday night local). 
  15-80M RTTY.  Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  100W maximum 
power.  One kHz QSY rule.  Look around 080 kHz on each band.

4.  NCCC CW Sprint Practice.  0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local). 
  15-80M CW.  Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  100W maximum power. 
  One kHz QSY rule.  Look around 040 kHz on each band.

5.  Makrothen RTTY Contest.  0000-0759Z Sat; 1600-2359Z Sat; 0800-1559Z 
Sunday.  80-10M RTTY.  Exchange:  Four character grid square (e.g.

  both calls, serial #, name.  Two kHz QSY rule.

11.  Arizona QSO Party.  16Z Sat to 06Z Sun; 1400-2459Z Sun.  80-2M CW, 
Phone, Digital.  Exchange:  serial # + SPC or AZ + county abbreviation.

12.  Pennsylvania QSO Party.  16Z Sat to 05Z Sun; 1300-2200Z Sun. 
160-2M.  CW, Phone, PSK, RTTY.  Exchange: serial # + ARRL/RAC section or 
PA county.  Bonus points for each QSO with W3SC.  This is one of the 
oldest and most popular QSO parties.  There is always a lot of activity 
on 80 and 160 both CW and SSB.

13.  FISTS CW Club Fall Sprint:  1700-2100Z Sat.  80-10M CW.  Maximum 
power: 100W.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, FISTS# or power.

14.  NCJ North American Sprint RTTY.  0000-0400Z Sun (Sat night local). 
  20, 40, 80M RTTY.  Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  1/5 kHz QSY 
rule.  There is a team competition.  If anyone wants me to get up a 
team, I'll be glad to do so, but will be out of town beginning Saturday 
morning, so I'll have to register the team(s) by Friday night.  Teams 
are from two to ten members.  Let me know right away if you want to be 
on a team.

Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend and a lot of QSOs.  I will be 
out of town without a rig until mid afternoon Sunday, so I'll be looking 
for a few QSOs in the QRPARCI, PQP, and AQP contests after I return home.
