As a good friend has recently reminded me, my math isn't always perfect. 
  Unfortunately, 3830scores wasn't set up with a pull down for team 
scores for this contest, so I have tried to be careful not to make 
errors, but if I did make any, it was unintentional.  I also need to 
correct an earlier post where I said that this year's SECC+friends team 
score was double the winning score from the GCG team last year.  That 
wasn't quite correct as it was not quite double that score.  I think the 
increased team score reflects increased participation in the third year 
of this contest and the popularity of having a session from 0000 to 
0400Z, rather than from 0400 to 0800Z, when many of us in this country 
like to sleep.

1.  QRP Fox Hunt.  Thurs night local, 0100-0230Z Friday.  14050 to 14070 
kHz.  Two foxes will be hiding there, K0ZK, Arn, ME and N9NE, Todd, WI. 
  Both good distances from here on 20M.  maximum power 5W.
Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, Power.  Work only the two foxes.

2.  NCCC RTTY Ladder Series.  0130-0159Z Friday (Thursday night local). 
  20, 40, 80M RTTY.  100W maximum power.  One kHz QSY rule.  Exchange: 
both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 080 kHz.

3.  NCCC NS CW Sprint Practice.  0230-0259Z Friday (Thursday night 
local).  15, 20, 40, 80M CW.  100W maximum power.  One kHz QSY rule.
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 040 kHz.

4.  G3ZQS Memorial Straight Key Contest.  2300Z Friday to 2300Z Sunday. 
  80-10M CW.  Exchange:  RST + SPC _ Name + FISTS # or power.  Anyone 
can participate using any key, but only those using straight keys are 
eligible for awards.  Query whether there is a 100W power limit as there 
is for the quarterly FISTS Sprints.  This is not specified in the rules 
for this contest.  Your log must include the type of key you used.  Look 
around 058 kHz.

5.  All Asian DX Contest, Phone.  00Z Sat to 24Z Sunday.  80-10M Phone. 
  Exchange:  RS + 2 digit age (or "00" for YLs who prefer).

6.  Russian RTTY Contest.  0000-2400Z Saturday.  Exchange:  RST + CQ 
Zone or Russian Oblast.

7.  Straight Key Century Club Weekend Sprintathon.  1200Z Sat to 2400Z 
Sun.  24 hours maximum time.  Use mechanical keys only.  160-10M CW. 
Exchange:  RST + Name + SPC + SKCC# or "none."  Bonus points for 
Canadian provinces and their capitals, Canadian provices and 
(theoretically) for CY9 and CY0 stations.  Spotting tools may be used. 
Suggested frequencies:  1820, 3550, 7055, 7114, 14050, 21050, 21114, 
28050, 28114, 50090.  Usual bonus points for the first time you work 
each Centurian and Tribune.

8.  RSGB and IARU Region One Field Day, SSB.  1300Z Sat to 1300Z Sun. 
Exchange:  RS + serial #.

9.  Ohio State Parks on the Air.  16Z Sat to 24Z Sun.  80-10M CW, SSB, 
AM, Digital.  Exchange:  S/P/"DX"/OH or OH + OH park abbreviation. 
Almost all the activity I have heard in this one is on SSB.

10.  Quarter Century Wireless Association "Fall" QSO Party.  18Z Sat to 
18Z Sun.  160-UHF.  CW/Dig, Phone.  Exchange:  2 digit year first 
licensed + name + QCWA chapter. Change in rule this year:  QCWA members 
not in a chapter send "999."  Hams not a member of QCWA send "none." 
Bonus points for each QSO with W2MM.

11.  NCJ North American Sprint CW.  0000-0400Z Sun (Sat night local). 
20, 40, 80M.  Exchange: both calls, #, name, SPC or "DX" for stations 
outside NA.  QSY 5 kHz to CQ again and 1 kHz to call another station 
after you have been called and worked a station.  There are teams, with 
two to ten members.  If anyone wants to be on a SECC team, please let me 
know and I will register a team before the Sprint starts.  I will be 
away from the house until late and hope to be active in the last 1 1/2 
hours or so.

12.  DARC (Germany) 10M Digital Contest.  11-17Z Sunday.  10M.  RTTY, 
Amtor, Clover, PSK31, Pactor.  Exchange:  RST + serial #.

13.  CW Ops Club CWT Mini Tests.  Wednesday of next week.  Three 
separate one-hour contests.  13Z, 19Z, and 03Z (Friday UTC).  160-10M 
CW. Exchange:  Name + CW Ops Member # or SPC.

I think that covers the activities of this weekend and the week ahead.
