Thanks Bill!! I was going to mention the same thing but changed my mind. But I totally agree with your comment, after all this is our HOBBY and not a place to post self-assuming political content. It’s really uncalled for and really rates the intelligence of the poster!

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have consistently not used our Ham related reflectors as a political forum! There is no place for it here!

This is the first time I have seen something like this in a very long time and hope it is a long time before I see another.

Thanks again.

Hi Tad,

Just my 2 cents on this one. Here's my take on the situation. I hope I
don't get banned from the list.

I think there are a few things going on:

1. Palm Sunday - For some of us anyway

2. Economy - While we keep hearing it is getting better, it just does
not feel like it.

3. Lack of Leadership - The country as a whole is in a state of stress
with Russia invading Crimea and maybe even the Ukraine. Folks are
worried (especially folks our age who understand the ramifications & our
leader's incomptetence) and therefore it just is not that happy time
that fosters participation in fun activities like GAQP. These are
dangerous times.

This is not the fault of the SECC folks....it goes a lot deeper than
that ...... again ....just my 2 cents (just because you asked).

73's ,
Greg
