[SECC] A funny thing happened in the GQP

I was on 20m phone calling CQ and worked a fellow in Missouri.  An hour later he called again and I told him that we’d already worked on 20m.  He chided me saying that now he was mobile in a different county in Missouri and would count again on this band.  i tried to explain that the rover concept only applied to GA stations, and that we would only get credit once per band. He assured me that I was mistaken.

An hour later he called me again and, when I told him we’d already worked, he said that he knew that but that now he was in a different Missouri county.  He said he was traveling throughout Missouri all day Saturday and Sunday to participate as a rover in the GQP.

Nothing I said would disabuse him of that notion.  He called me several more times during the weekend.  Hope he did well...

Sigh…
