Club: North Fulton ARL

Comments:

As always one of my favorites, being in GA. This year was a bit different in
that we operated Multi-Single. Had 3 young chaps (Sammy, Matthew, and 
Parker)
from the Mill Springs Academy (W4MSA) over to work phone AND CW! Yes, the CW
needed a bit of prompting here and there depending on the op, but we had 
loads
of fun for about 70 contacts.  Rig here is an Elecraft KX-3, 3 ele YAGI 
at 21
meters, and an 80M horizontal loop 25 meters.

The boys are in the Ham Radio class at Mill Springs lead by Martha, W4MSA.
Wanted to get them a taste for contesting and it doesn't take long 
before they
get into swing of things.  Expect them all to be at the NFARL Field Day 
on the
GOTA station running up the score.  Lots of excitement around this class 
of 12
young pups.
