This Week's Contests:

1.  CWOps Club CWT Mini Test.  0300Z Thursday (Wednesday night local 
date).  160-10M CW.  Exchange:  Name + CWOps# or SPC.  Look around 027 
kHz on each band.

2.  QRP Fox Hunt 80M.  0200-0330Z Friday (Thursday night local date). 
5W maximum power.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + Name + Power. Two foxes will 
be hiding between 3550 and 3570 kHz.  Work only the two foxes who will 
be AC7A, TOM, AZ and K9CW, DREW, IL.

3.  NCCC CW NS Ladder.  0230Z - 0259Z Friday (Thursday night local 
date).  20, 40, 80, 160M CW.  100W maximum power.  One kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 040 kHz plus 1815 kHz.

4.  Michigan QRP Club January Contest.  1200Z Sat to 2400Z Sun.  160-6M 
CW.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + MiQRP # or Power.  Look around 1810, 3560, 
7040 (7030), 14060, 21060, 28060.

5. Straight Key Century Club Weekend Sprintathon.  (WES).  1200Z Sat to 
2400Z Sun.  24 hours max operation.  160-6M CW.  Exchange:  RST + Name + 
SPC + SKCC# or "NONE."  Use only mechanical keys.  K4BAI will be signing 
K3Y/4 (the SKCC anniversary call for the fourth district) between 1630Z 
and 2400Z on Sunday.

6.  NCJ North American QSO Party, CW.  18Z Sat to 01Z Sun.  10 hours 
maximum for single ops.  160-10M CW.  Exchange:  Name + SPC.  (only Name 
for stations outside NA + KH6).  KH6 counts as a state in spite of not 
being part of NA.  Multipliers are counted per band.  Team Competitions.

7.  Tuesday Night 40M QRP Fox Hunt.  Same as for 80M on Thursday night 
except frequency range is 7030 to 7050 kHz and the scheduled foxes are 
N4KV, JOHN, TN and WA4ILO, JIM, GA.

SECC Teams for NAQP so far include the following stations:  CW:  K4BAI, 
KU8E, N4PN, K1ZZI, W4IX, W1AW/4 (K2SX opr), K4FXN, W4UX, W4MJA, WN4AFP, 
KG3V, W5JR, NM2L.  We need at least two more to fill out three full 
teams and I'd like us to have four or five teams.  Remember you do not 
need live within a circle or actually be a member of SECC.  Ask your 
friends, but let me know by late afternoon Friday.  I will register the 
teams Friday night, but will try to check for any last minute changes 
just before the contest starts on Saturday.

For SSB the following Saturday, so far we have K4BAI, W4MJA, N4PN, N4XL, 
K4NV and possibly W4IX.  Others please let me know ASAP.
