Hello all:

Jim, N0UR in MN, and I will be the QRP Foxes on 80M Thursday night.
0200-0330 UTC Friday. I will be using either a FT1000MP or Icom 756Pro
at 5W output and alternating between a coax fed inverted vee dipole with
the apex at 55' and an 88' center fed zepp at 50'. Jim and I will be
somewhere between 3550 and 3570 kHz. I will start out sending "UP1" and
listening UP1. After the pile up dies down, I will be listening on my
own frequency and will stop sending "UP." Please use no more than 5
watts and do not spot the foxes frequencies. Hope all of you will give
the QRP Fox Hunts a try. The exchange is: RST, SPC, Name, Power.

If you have not participated before, you might be interested to know
that there are 40M hunts on Tuesday nights and 80M hunts on Thursday
nights during the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons. During the summer,
there are hunts on 20M. You will find a home page if you do an internet
search for "QRP Fox Hunts."

Good luck to all hounds tomorrow night. Then I will be a 40M fox next
Tuesday and hope to see again then.

73/72, John, K4BAI.
