This Week's Contests:

1.  CWOps Club CWT Mini-Tests.  Every Wednesday.  Three separate
one-hour mini-tests.  1300Z, 1900Z, 0300Z (Thursday UTC dates).  160-10M
CW.  Exchange:  Name + CWOps # or SPC.  Look around 027 to 043 kHz on
each band and up from 1815 kHz on 160M.

2.  QRP Fox Hunt.  Last of the summer series on 20M.  0100Z - 0230Z
Friday (Thursday night local).  Two QRP Foxes (K0DTJ, BRIAN, CA and
K1IX, Dave, NH) will be calling between 14050 and 14070 kHz.  Work only
the two foxes.  Power must not exceed 5W.  Do not sport the frequencies
of the foxes.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, Power.

3.  NCCC RTTY Sprint.  0145-0215Z Friday (Thursday night local date).
15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY.  100W maximum power.  One/one kHz QSY rule.
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 080 kHz and up from
1805 kHz.

4.  NCCC NS Sprint.  0215-0259Z Friday (Thursday night local date).  15,
20, 40, 80, 160M CW.  100W maximum power.  One/one kHz rule.  Exchange:
  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 040 kHz and up from 1815 kHz.

5.  G3ZQS Memorial Straight Key Contest.  2300Z Fri to 2300Z Sun.
80-10M.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + Name + FISTS# or power.  So far it is
unclear to me if we are limited to 100W for this sprint as we are for
all other FISTS contests.

6.  CWOps Club CW Open.  Saturday 0000-0359Z (Friday might local date).
  1200-1559Z Saturday.  2000-2359Z Saturday.  160-10M CW.  Exchange:
serial # + Name.  THIS ANNUAL COMPETITION HAS A TEAM COMPETITION.  WE
MAY REGISTER TEAMS OF FROM TWO TO TEN MEMBERS.  I WILL REGISTER TEAM(S)
BEFORE THE CONTEST STARTS.  SO FAR, I HAVE:  N4IQ, K4BAI, AD8J, KU8E,
N4EWT, NN4K.  I need four more for one full team and would love to have
more than one.  If you can play in any of the sessions Saturday and
would like to be on a team, plest let me know right away.  I will
register the team(s) before the contest starts Friday evening and will
send out a copy of the registrations(s).

7.  All Asian DX Phone Contest.  48 hours of weekend UTC.  80-10M Phone.
  Exchange:  RS + 2-digit age (or "00" if YLs prefer).

8.  Russian RTTY World Wide Contest.  24 hours of Saturday UTC date. 
80-10M RTTY.  Exchange:  RST + CQ Zone or 2 letter Russian oblast.  Work 
everyone.

9.  Colorado QSO Party.  160-UHF CW, Ph, Dig.  1300Z Sat to 0400Z Sun. 
Exchange:  Name + SPC or CO county.

10.  IARU Region One Field Day and RSGB Field Day, SSB.  80-10M SSB. 
1300Z Sat to 1300Z Sun.  Exchang:  RS + serial #.

11.  DARC a0M Digital Contest.  1100Z to 1700Z Sunday.  10M.  Exchange: 
  RST + serial #.  Work everyone.

12.  Tennessee QSO Party.  1800Z Sun to 0300Z Mon.  160-UHF.  CW, Ph, 
Dig.  Exchange:  RS(T) + SPC or TN County.  There is a club aggregate 
score competition, which SECC has won a few times.  Be sure to put your 
club name in the Cabrillo header.  Show SECC as "South East Contest Club."

13.  Michigan QRP Club Labor Day Sprint.  2300Z Monday to 0300Z Tuesday. 
  160-6M CW.  5W maximum power.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + MiQRP Club # or 
power.

14.  Adventure Radio Club Spartan Sprnt.  Every first Monday local time 
on US East Coast.  0100Z to 0300Z Tuesday UTC date.  80-10M CW.  5W 
maximum power.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + Power.  Yes, there is a two-hour 
overlap of these two CW contests.  You can operate both and try to get 
those you work in the first two hours to work you again in the last two. 
  Of course, you can submit your log, including possible duplicates, to 
the MiQRP Party adjudicator (N8XX).  You do not submit your log to the 
SP sponsor, so you just extract the number of non-duplicate QSOs in the 
second hour and send in that and other required information by e-mail.

15.  Phone Fray. Every Tuesday night local date.  0230-0259Z Wednesday. 
  Exchange:  Name + SPC.  Count mults per band.  100W maximum power.  No 
QSY rule.  15,, 20, 40, 80, 160M SSB.

16.  CWTs.  Every Wed.  See #1 above.
