This Week's Contests:

1.  CWOps Club CWT Min-Tests. Every Wednesday local date.   1300Z, 1900, 
0300Z (Thursday UTC date).  Three separate mini-tests.  Exchange:  Name 
+ CWOps# or SPC.  Look around 025 to 040 kHz on each band.

2.  CQ WPX RTTY Practice sessions.  Two separate 30 minutes practices. 
Thursday 2100-2130Z and Friday 0100-0130Z (Thursday night local date). 
Usual WPX RTTY frequency and rules.

3.  80M QRP Fox Hunt.  0200-0330Z Friday (Thursday night local).  Two 
foxes (KR0U TIM CO and KV2X TOM NY) will be hiding between 3550 and 3570 
kHz.  5W maximum power.  Do not spot the foxes frequencies.  Work only 
the two foxes.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, Name, Power.

4.  NCCC RTTY Practice.  0145-0215Z Friday (Thursday night local date). 
  15, 20, 40, 80, 160M RTTY.  100W maximum power.  1/1 kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 080 kHz on each band 
and up from 1805 kHz.  Same band dupes OK after one intervening QSO.

5.  NCCC NS Ladder Series CW Sprint Practice.  0230-0300Z Friday 
(Saturday night local date).  100W maximum power.  1/1 kHz QSY rule. 
Exchange:  both calls, #, name, SPC.  Look around 040 kHz on each band 
plus up from 1815 kHz.  No same band dupes permitted.

6.  CQ World Wide RTTY WPX Contest.  80-10M RTTY.  48 hours of Sat/Sun 
UTC.  Single ops maximum time 30 hours with minimum one hour off 
periods.  Exchange:  RST + serial #.  There is a club aggregate score 
competition so be sure to put your club name in your Cabrillo header. 
For SECC, put "South East Contest Club."

7.  South African Radio League Field Day.  10Z Sat to 10Z Sun.  160-10M 
CW, SSB, Digital.  Exchange:  RST + # of transmitters + category + ZS 
province or "DX."  So a USA home station would send "RST 1F DX."

8.  Asia-Pacific Spring Sprint, CW.  1100-1300Z Sat.  40/20M CW.  Work 
only A-P stations.  Exchange:  RST + serial #.  SO1R only.  One kHz QSY 
rule.

9.  Dutch PACC Contest.  1200Z Sat to 1200Z Sun.  160-10M CW, SSB. 
Exchange:  RS(T) + Dutch province abbreviation or serail #.  Work only 
Dutch stations.  There are usually a lot of Dutch stations QRV and this 
one can be fun, especially on CW.

10.  Keyman's Club of Japan Top Band Contest.  1200Z Sat to 1200Z Sun. 
160M CW.  Exchange:  RST + JA Prefecture/District Code or Continent 
abbreviation (NA for North America).

11.  Straight Key Century Club Weekend Sprintathon.  1200Z Sat to 2400Z 
Sun.  24 hours maximum operating time.  160-6M CW.  Exchange:  RST, SPC, 
Name, SKCC# or "NONE."  Use mechanical key only.  25 bonus points for 
QSOs with members with numbers 13245 and up.  Also 100 bonus points for 
spelling out "NEWBIE WELCOME" with call signs worked or 50 bonus points 
for just one of those words.  Look around 050 kHz on each band.

12.  OMISS QSO Party.  1500Z Sat to 1500Z Sun.  160-10M SSB.  Exchange: 
  RS + SP/DX + OMISS# if any.

13.  FISTS Winter Unlimited Sprint.  1700Z to 2100Z Saturday.  80-10M 
CW.  100W maximum power.  Exchange:  RST + SPC + Name + FISTS# or power. 
  Look around 058 kHz on each band.

14.  PODXS 070 Club Valentines's Sprint.  24 hours of Sunday UTC. 
160-40M PSK31.  Maximum power 50W.  Exchange:  Name + OM or YL + SPC.

15.  40M QRP Fox Hunt.  Next Tuesday.  Same rules as for 80M Fox Hunt 
(#3 above) except the frequencies are between 7030 and 7050 kHz and the 
foxes are scheduled to be KV2X TOM NY and W9CF KEVIN AZ.

16.  Phone Fray. Every Tuesday.  0230-0259Z.  15, 20, 40, 80, 160 M SSB. 
  maximum power 100W.  No QSY rule.  Exchange:  Name + SPC.  Mults ae 
counted per band.

17.  CWTs every Wednesday. See #1 above.

Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend and a lot of QSOs.  I will 
miss most of the weekend activities due to the Orlando HamCation, 
Southern Contest Dinner, and ARRL Convention.  Perhaps I can get in the 
SKCC WES when I get home from Orlando. Hope to see many of you in Orlando.
