On 20 meters CW, between 14050 and 14070 kHz, there will be a QRP Fox
Hunt, part of the QRP Fox Hunt Summer Series. The two foxes are Jim,
N0UR in MN, and John, K4BAI, in GA. Hope many will participate. You
may run no more than 5W output and you may not spot the foxes'
frequencies. The exchange is RST, SPC, Name, Power. The foxes will
probably be split at the start (and indicate that by "UP" or "DWN") and
may go to simplex when the pileups die down. For the hunt itself, you
may work only the two foxes.

I will be using my new (to me) FTDX5000, and I am still learning how to
use it, although I have used them at the WW4LL contest station for
several years. My antenna is a TH6DXX at 55 feet and I will also have
an 88 foot center fed zepp at about 45 feet and I can switch back and
forth between the antennas. I will probably beam north to start with
and then move to the west with the antenna. Band conditions on 20M have
been very good at this time of night lately.

Complete rules and fox hunt schedules may be seen on the QRP Fox Hunt
Home Page.

Hope to work you all in IARU HF this weekend too. 73/72, John, K4BAI.
