It was tough going here at the wires-in-the-woods station. The local noise level in the neighborhood keeps creeping up, year after year.  I need the noise blankers on most nights and that's not very satisfactory.

Condx didn't seem all that good either.  Meanwhile, guys on the West Coast with good stations were easily copied - attention to basic station details pays off big on top band....
