Can you locate anyone who wants to operate GQP on Saturday with us ? Chuck AD4ES has to participate in a family Passover Seder on Saturday. Our intention was to go with Mike KE4YGT, Chuck, and myself. I would operate CW and Chuck / Mike would switch driving and operate. Chuck is a good CW operator and while he operated on CW, I would operate SSB. When Mike would operate, he would be on SSB and I would be on CW (Mike does not know CW but is good on SSB). Now without Chuck, we will need a third operator / driver (a van). Because of our proposed route, we would like to meet on I-10 in Duval County (FL). That way, we would not have to drive back to Echols County at the end, and then drive back to Melbourne.

We are using a pair of IC7100 transceivers with auto switched band pass filters (ICE-419's). One is dedicated to CW and the other is dedicated for SSB. We are using networked laptops with CQ/X software (and GPS).

If we cannot get a 3rd operator, we will cancel our operation.

Very 73,

Eric K9ES
