There is a new feature on the GQP web page. Go to
http://ku8e.com/GQP/GQPRegisterCounty.php and you can let everyone know
what Georgia county (or counties) you will be operating from. Just fill
in the form and hit the Submit button. You can then go to
http://ku8e.com/GQP/GQP_Planned_Counties.php to see the list of planned
activity.
Unfortunately I don't have it working yet for someone to enter multiple
counties in one submission. If you are going to be a rover you will have
to fill out the form and submit it for each county you will be operating
from. I'm working on updating this. I'm also pretty sure that Alan,
N5NA, will be doing an activity map for us again this year.
BTW, if you didn't know John Laney, K4BAI is now the GQP Contest
Director. I will be doing the background work on the web page and log
checking. Chaz, W4GKF, is still taking care of the plaques (a big
thanks!) If anyone else would like to volunteer to help out that would
be great! I need someone who is tech savvy who could write a web
application to generate online certificates. Pass this email to your
local clubs.
Only 42 days left until the GQP....
