I made *zero* contacts in the WPX yet it was near the top of my "fun"
category.

Invited new Technician hams Colby, KN4FSE (age 13) and his mother
Diane, KN4FSD over to the shack on Sunday PM.  Along with soon to be
licensed Landon, age 10.

Diane and Colby received their tickets about 10 days ago.

Started off with demonstrating how to download N3FJP software and get it
going.
Then, they made contacts and we put in Colby's entry at the CQ WPX website.

So, Colby started off on 10M (and there were quite a few signals to the
south).  He
quickly got the hang of it,  using his own callsign, and
made 20 Qs in about 45 minutes.   Had about 500 points. Used 100 watts.

Then we moved to 15M and Diane used my callsign to make about 10
contacts at QRP,
of course.  Big smiles when PJ2T was amazed how strong her 5 watt signal
was booming in
as he called it.

I thought I'd make some more contacts later on and we'd be Mult-Single QRP
but alas I never got back from dinner in time.

They are now pumped and ready for the GA QSO PARTY! *And so am I!!!*
