Hello all:

When I summarized the contests for this week, I left off the first Fox
Hunt of the Winter Season, which will be held tonight.  9 to 10:30 PM
EST.  40 Meters, between 7030 and 7050.  The 80 meter Fox Hunts are held
on Thursdays beginning this Thursday.  5W maximum output power.
Exchange is RST, SPC, Name, Power.  The foxes usually start out split
listening up about one kHz and most will go to simplex once the pile up
drops down.  Tonight's foxes are N9AW, Jerry in WI, and our own NN4K,
Mac, GA.  Of course, 40M is often too long for stations outside
groundwave distance and within a few hundred miles, but you can never
tell until you try.  Sometimes, the skiip will shorten up toward the end
of the 90 minute period, so it may pay to stay until the end or when you
have worked both foxes. Please join in the fun this season.  All
information available on the Home Page for QRP Fox Hunts.

Good luck.

73/72, John, K4BAI.
