[SECC] Keying - which hand?

I suggest initially keying with the dominant hand, dots on thumb. Then work to key with the non-dominant hand, still dots on the thumb.
I’m right handed, keying right initially. I later learned to key left handed so I could write with my right for contesting.
Given that most computer mice are for the right hand, I find there is less workflow clutter if I put the paddles on the left and send left. I can send much faster with the dominant (right) hand, but 25-30 with the left can be done without embarrassment.
Like other posters, I’ve embraced keyboard typing of late for contesting remotely where a paddle isn’t an option. That has taken getting used to, and I can generally not embarrass myself doing it. Judicious crafting of macro keys has helped to minimize the live keyboard episodes.
BTW, I’m not a CW rag chewer.
tnx
