Hello all: We have one team at I will register for NA Sprint Saturday.
If others are interested, I'll be glad to register another one. Since
three of the members of the team are from SC and members of SFCG, I will
register the team as SECC/SFCG. The members are K4BAI, N4EEV, N4IQ,
WN4AFP, and KG6MC. Hope many others of you will be QRV to the extend
you can be. It runs 8 to 12 PM EDT Saturday night. Start on 20M to
work the ones you can before that band closes, then QSY to 40 and then
to 80. You should check back on 20 and 40 when the 80M rate slows and
you may find some new mults. You can run HP or LP or even QRP, but it
is more fun and will make more QSOs if you run the maximum legal power
that you can. Exchange is both calls, #, name, SPC. Mults are states,
provinces, and NA countries. You can work the same station on each
band. There is a one/five kHz QSY rule. If you solicit a QSO and get a
call, when you make that QSO, you must QSY one kHz to call another
station and give kHz to CQ again. If you call a station and work him,
you get to keep the frequency and answer one more caller. Maximum of
two QSOs on the same frequency before QSY. This can be a lot of fun.
Thanks for the interest. 73, John, K4BAI.
