[SECC] K4BAI Fox Hunt Announcement, Tuesday night on 40M

Hello all:

I will be one of the QRP Foxes in the 40M QRP Fox Hunt Tuesday evening 
in USA, 0200-0330Z Wednesday.  I will be calling between 7030 and 7050 
kHz using 5W output from a TS590SG.  My location is in Columbus, GA on 
the western border of the state.  The other fox is NC4RT, Randy, 
portable in coastal North Carolina.  I will be switching between a 40M 
coax fed dipole that seems to favor the west/east and an 88' center fed 
zepp that seems to favor N/S.  I will start out listening "UP" about 1 
to 1 1/2 kHz.  When the pile up goes down, I will go simplex, listening 
on and near to my transmit frequency.  At that time, I will stop sending 
"UP" after a CQ FOX call or TU message.  My sent exchange will be real 
RST, GA, JOHN, 5W.

I hope many will join in these fun CW QRP activities that take place on 
40M on Tuesday nights local date here and 80M local date here.  The 
exchange is RST, SPC, Name, Power.  You must run 5W or less and can work 
only the two foxes.  WC7S keeps the records and top foxes and hounds are 
determined for each season and also team scores are reported for those 
who have pre-registered teams.


For CWOps Club members, this activity will be on January 1, 2020 UTC 
time, but will not count for the CWOps 10th Anniversary celebration as a 
contest other than a CWT session.  But, I will be QRV otherwise during 
the month.
