Comments:

I'm entering the 15m single band category again this year. My overall
numbers
were 117Qs/64 mults for 22,272 points. I had a good time on 15m. The band
was
always open to Central and South America, but I did experience a nice
opening to
the Pacific and amazingly worked Bill, KH7XS. There were times when I heard
PJ2T
or 8P5A as the only station on the band abd the sig was S20. Where were all
the
other stations? Even though I was focusing on 15m, in the evening I had to
tame
the 40m SSB jungle. On 40m, I had 43Qs with 32 mults. I heard several Swamp
Foxes roaming the bands. I heard a very weak K7OM and Bill, N4IQ and I were
chasing each other around the bands. Last weekend several of my wires came
down
due to high winds. Now my 80/40/20 pinwheel dipole array is at 6ft. My 40m
aluminum wire dipole is at 15'. I was amazed to work Bill, KH7XS with my
80/40/20 pinwheel array instead of my high 40m dipole. What a great contact
using my NVIS special. Rig is an IC-751 barefoot at 80 watts. Thanks for
all for
the Qs! 73s Dave WN4AFP
