Comments:
With the low sunspot numbers (aka zero), I expected 10m to be pretty dead.
Once all the contest stations started up with their great antenna systems,
the band was pretty active on Saturday.  No EU but plenty of activity south
of the equator.  Worked a good number of PY's and the VP6, along with a ZL.
