I have a factory built KPA500 amplifier with the KPAK3AUX cable to
connect directly to a K3. I'm asking $1450 plus shipping costs. If you
want insurance you would need to pay that.

Recently I blew the two final transistors so the amp isn't working right
now.  I've been thinking of upgrading to a higher powered amplifier and
I've purchased one so the KPA500 would be a spare for me. It's my
understanding that for Elecraft to repair this would be cost $500.
Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 they aren't doing any repairs in the
near future because they are working from home. The transistors are
VRF2933's and cost about $112 each from Mouser.

On Elecraft's webpage a new factory built KPA500 is $2400. My
understanding is they are going for about $1900 used. The KPA3AUX cable
is about $40.  I would subtract $500 off the used price to offset the
repair cost. If you are the type of person who does their own repairs
this would be a great deal for you. I'm not really making any money
since I'm just trying to offset the cost of the new amplifier I just
purchased.

I have the original shipping boxes, manual, spare fuses and 2 KPAK3AUX
cables. I will accept PayPal. If you live up by Atlanta I would be
willing to meet you halfway.
