[SECC] Where to find the Pole in Gin Pole? - ANSWERED

I had asked where could I find a 10-12 foot aluminum tubing to go with my recently ordered Gin Pole Kit. Several of you suggested Metals Supermarket, which has three Atlanta-area branches.

I got a quote and placed an order today.

For reference, their prices were approximately:

6061-T6 2”x0.125” 144” Round Aluminum - $71
6061-T6 2”x0.25” 144” Round Aluminum - $110

I ordered the 1/4” wall stuff. I’ll probably regret that choice when I have to haul it up and down the tower…. But it’s much less likely to bend under load, which could just ruin your whole day.
