Propagation was pretty poor.
40 CW was just about the only band  I could do much with.

A couple of 20 Qs, but hard to do.

Except for today's Cobb and Fulton, I made it to Towns, Rabun, Stephens and Franklin
I added White, Hart, Elbert, Madison to my list, but got home pretty late, after midnight.
From most of these counties, I logged 30-50 Qs.
If I had a longer route, I could not have spent so much time at each stop.

Pileups were great.  Sometimes just a roar.
Sometimes callers a couple hundred Hz off of zero beat were the ones who got thru because of the solid tone on freq.
Sometime these were not as strong as sigs on freq... (Hint here)

I heard many rovers, and worked a few.

Greg, NM2L should be finding his missing counties from that snow bank in IL....

My goodness, what would this weekend be if we had propagation!

I will watch the reflector this AM, and be ready to make a run to cover a missed county if needed.

Good luck on the second day...

Mike
