As many of you know, our club member John, K4BAI is in route to 6Y5 for the CQ WPX CW contest this weekend.
 
Any other guys going to participate?
 
Also, is anyone planning on using CWSkimmer this weekend?  New WPX director Randy, K5ZD has declared the use of Skimmer is within the rules, as currently written, for single ops, in the UNassisted category.  It will be interesting to see if the Skimmer provides any advantage....it may be the last time, and ONLY time, before the contest committees re-write the rules.  I'm sure Randy would appreciate any comments from Skimmer USERS as to how it affects your operating, pro or con, and will have an effect on future rules. I know some guys in ACG/SECC have Skimmer up and operational.
 
I'll be operating part-time as WZ4F, single op...Non-Skimmer.
