I was there last year (first time) and will be heading back this year.  Had a great time.  The hotels are next door to the Hamfest.

Hi all...it's time to get ready for the Huntsville Hamfest....rooms are avail at the Holiday Inn for $82 and the Embassy Suites for $112...remember that Friday night the contesting clubs TCG, ACG, and SECC will be hosting a hospitality suite...food (pizza,wings,and tacos) and an open bar will avail ...starts at 7pm till???

Come and meet our contesting neighbors...discuss strategy with a fellow contestor, have some great knosh from the food tables, and just have a great time in a contesting environment....and if you stay in one of the above hotels you don't have to drive after having a drink!!

Thats's the Friday night agenda....and now for Saturday night attend the contestor's dinner..we will join up and go to a local Mexican Restaurant for some great Mexican food and a little entertainment..... N4FD (Dr Contest from Albany and Brunswick, Ga) and NQ4I will present "a morning in the life of a contestor at a multi multi station")..... It is a skit that you won't forget...and finally  the presentation of the South East Contestor of the Year 2009 will be awarded!! This will be a night not to miss!!

I encourage all of you to hitch up the wagon's and head west by north west to Huntsville...One of the best smaller hamfests ever!!
