Don, W4OC reminded me to take a look at the sun – August is sure different than Jan for NAQP. Its not dark in CA until 11:30PM local, and not dark in Washington state until about 12:30 AM local (here). To get the western mults on the low bands it looks like you really need to be there at then end.
